Nick Chaplin
Born into a musical family, Nick started his performing career early in life. Throughout his school years he played various instruments in various school bands and orchestras, also finding time to sing with Stratford upon Avon’s Holy Trinity Church choir which earned him his first television appearance on the BBC’s Songs of Praise.
He then picked up a guitar aged eleven, and hasn’t put it down since!
After leaving school he found his ability to improvise and learn songs quickly meant his services were much in demand, both in and out of the recording studio.
He frequently found himself playing in two or three different bands at the same time! As well as recording, he has toured extensively across the country appearing at many different music venues and festivals.
He enjoys listening to, and playing music of all styles. His musical tastes and influences range from the classics through to the modern day, and everything in between!
Although he has a large collection of guitars and equipment, something which has turned into a bit of a hobby, these days Nick plays a Musicman bass guitar through an Ashdown amplifier. He also provides backing vocals.
